Those of you who’ve been with me since the start of my Veggie LAD journey will know I’m a big fan of independent, pop-up, hipster-tastic restaurants and food outlets. But, the fact is, we can’t always feast on a mac ‘n’ cheese truffle burger served from a cafe disguised as a living room in East London. Chain restaurants have become part of our foodie identity in Britain and some of them are doing some amazing work for vegetarians. All the places in my top 10 do brilliant veggie options at affordable prices, so go there with confidence and enjoy! I decided to only feature restaurants that have more than 3 sites and have outlets outside London. What Happened When I Gave Up Alcohol for a Whole Month

I made it! Yes I battled through 31 long days of alcohol-freeness and arrived the other side (mostly) unscathed. It was hard at times, particularly over Easter Weekend, but I’m very proud of myself for abstaining from my beloved beers for 1 whole month. I didn’t do it alone, I had the support of my girlfriend (who was doing it too) and some awesome drinks companies who sent me their alcohol-free offerings to get me through.
